Dwarf pond cypress and American white waterlily in Tate's Hell State Forest. This is one of two areas in Florida where there is a large stand of pond cypress that due to the underlying soil conditions, all of the trees are much smaller than usual. These dwarf cypress are often called hat-rack cypress due to their appearance.
