The monarch butterfly - Danaus plexippus - is famous for the multi-generational migration throughout North America. These members of the brush-footed butterflies family - Nymphalidae - can be seen year-round in Florida. Spotted beebalm - Monarda punctata - is a native wildflower that attracts many pollinators and can be found throughout the eastern portions of North America, Texas and surrounding states and California.
