Zebra longwing - Heliconius charithonius - butterflies can be found in hardwood hammocks, deep woods and gardens throughout peninsular Florida, the zebra longwing also ranges from South America through Central America and Mexico into southern Texas plus the West Indies.
The little white wildflower is known as beggarticks or Spanish needles, names derived from the seeds which easily stick to clothes & animals. Beggarticks are favorites of many butterflies and other pollinators.
