Gold Head Branch in Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park, along the fern loop trail. This photograph shows the clear water flowing over the sandy creek bed and a fallen log, with lush foliage of ferns, needle palms and other plants lining the banks.
In northeast Florida, this state park includes structures built by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) during the 1930's. Gold Head Branch originates from a series of small seepage springs in a deep ravine in the park. The park also includes rolling sandhills and several lakes.
His entire life Paul Rebmann has ventured outdoors to enjoy nature.
